storytelling through the pen.

Every story is only as good as the words that construct it. Words so precise and poignant that they turn an intangible yet overwhelming feeling into a palpable reality. Growing up, I wrote to make stories fabricated between the walls of my imagination a reality. Today, I write to capture the accurate reality of a situation, a body of art, or a profile — to so precisely relate the details that years upon reflection nostalgia may just overcome reader.

I honed my writing skills throughout my undergraduate coursework, taking classes in creative writing, comparative literature, and magazine writing, in addition to writing for Slope Media Magazine, a student-lead pop-culture publication. I continued my journalism education by taking Rolling Stone and NYU’s Modern Journalism course as I wrote AP news style articles for NBC New York’s digital platform.
